SpaceHey Layouts

SpaceHey layout generator

Pick a look, change a few colors, and copy a profile layout you can paste into SpaceHey. The preview matches the profile sections SpaceHey actually uses, and the code only changes appearance.

Layout maker

Paste the code at the top of SpaceHey → Edit Profile → About Me, then click Save Profile. Your text can go under the style block.

Preview uses the same selectors as a SpaceHey profile: background, links, contact box, interests, and the heading bar.

No CSS required

Choose a preset, then change colors if you want. The generator writes the stylesheet.

Looks like the real profile

The preview is built from the contact box, interest tables, URL box, and about section.

Your own background

Use a flat color or an https image. The picture is linked, not uploaded.

Safe to paste

The result is one style block. It does not include scripts, so it cannot run code on your account.

Ten starting points

Y2K, emo, pastel, dark, pixel, glitter, and a few more. Each one stays editable.

Settings stick around

Refresh the page and the layout you were editing is still here, in this browser.

How to put a layout on your profile

  1. 1. Start from a preset Click Y2K, Emo, Pastel, or any other style. That fills the controls.
  2. 2. Adjust the details Change the background, font, text, links, borders, heading bar, and how see-through the boxes are.
  3. 3. Copy the code Use Copy layout code. You will get a style block and a reminder of where it goes.
  4. 4. Paste it in About Me On SpaceHey, open Edit Profile, paste into the About Me box above your own text, and save.

What a SpaceHey profile layout is

SpaceHey profiles can be restyled from the About Me box. People share free SpaceHey layouts as a chunk of CSS that sets the page background, fonts, link colors, and the bars on the contact and interest modules. A layout maker does that work visually, which helps if you want a personal page and do not want to learn selectors first.

This SpaceHey CSS generator only emits presentation rules. It does not rewrite your name, posts, or friends list, and it does not add music players or hidden scripts. If a layout feels wrong later, delete the style block and the default profile comes back.

FAQ

How do I use a custom layout on SpaceHey?

Design it here, copy the code, and paste it into About Me on your Edit Profile page. Save, then open your profile. The colors and fonts should match this preview.

Where do I paste the code?

Paste it in the About Me section, which is the first big box under Edit Profile. Keep the style block at the top so it loads before the words you write about yourself.

Can I use my own background image?

Yes. Put an https address in the background image field. SpaceHey will request that image when someone views your profile. Use a link you are allowed to hotlink.

Is this safe? Will it affect my account?

The copied code cannot include a script. It changes how the profile looks. It does not post, message, or change your password. If something clashes with another layout, remove the style block.

How do I restore the default layout?

Edit Profile, delete the style block from About Me, and save. That restores the usual SpaceHey profile.

Do I need to know CSS?

No. Presets and sliders are the editor. Copying is enough to publish a profile layout.

Will my settings stay if I refresh?

Yes. This browser keeps the current layout locally. Another computer, or a cleared site storage, starts fresh.

Privacy

Layout choices are saved in this browser only. Background image addresses are not uploaded. Analytics may count a page view and a copy click, without your SpaceHey username.
